“Anand” – A Father So Divine
On a distant branch, a bird’s nest so small,
Anand, my father, stands proud and tall,
Beneath the scorching sun, the tree is ablaze,
But his shadow cools, a sheltering gaze.
He hungers, yet his soul’s so full,
In his presence, my heart feels whole.
Short are the nights, but in each dream,
Anand’s light shines, a radiant beam.
Through every storm, he stands so strong,
Cool as ice, though tested long.
“My child,” he asks, “how do you feel?
For I am all your ‘Suraj’, a force so real.”
And so I say, with heart and mind, Anand, my father, so divine.
In every form, a father’s love,
A gift from heaven, sent from above.
