Read the story below –

Once upon a time, there was a man named Jack who believed that happiness was something that would just happen to him if he waited long enough. He spent his days dreaming about all the things that would make him happy – a new car, a bigger house, a promotion at work. But despite all of his daydreaming, Jack never seemed to be truly happy. One day, Jack had the opportunity to meet the Dalai Lama, a wise and revered spiritual leader. Jack asked the Dalai Lama, “What is the secret to happiness?” The Dalai Lama replied, “Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions.” Jack was puzzled by this answer. “What do you mean?” he asked. The Dalai Lama explained, “Happiness is not a destination, it’s a journey. You can’t simply wait for happiness to come to you – you have to create it for yourself. It’s all about your attitude and the actions you take every day.” Jack thought about this for a moment. “So what actions should I take to be happy?” he asked. The Dalai Lama smiled. “That’s for you to decide, my friend. But I can tell you that happiness often comes from helping others, being grateful for what you have, and living in the present moment instead of always worrying about the future.” With that, Jack left the meeting feeling enlightened. He realized that he had been waiting for happiness to find him instead of actively pursuing it. So, he started to take action. He volunteered at a local charity, took time to appreciate his loved ones, and focused on enjoying the little things in life. Slowly but surely, Jack began to feel happier and more fulfilled. From that day on, Jack remembered the wise words of the Dalai Lama – happiness is not something ready-made, it comes from your own actions. And with that mindset, he continued to live a life filled with joy, kindness, and positivity.
